Window Perforation vs. Blockout



Perforated Film (Window Perf): Perforated film is a one-way vision solution that is dependent on light levels. The graphic is visible from the side with the most light. If your interior lights are brighter than the streetlights at night, the graphic may become partially transparent, and people can see in.

Blockout Film (Opaque Vinyl): Blockout film is absolute. It uses a solid adhesive vinyl layer to achieve a near-total block effect in both directions. It is the film used when a room requires zero ambient light (e.g., photography darkrooms, server rooms, or presentation rooms). If light must be blocked completely, this is the solution.
